The steps to achieving Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s vision of a large Gompa (meditation hall) to serve as a facility to host High Lama’s of the Gelukpa tradition to teach large Lam Rim courses are clear and within reach. The first step in our plan is to find a large New England barn that has good interior structure that we will have disassembled and reassembled as the frame for the new building. These old New England barns have huge timber frames that are very strong. By recycling a barn we will save ourselves half of the framing costs and save the cutting of more trees as well. For the interior, we will be harvesting lumber from the Center’s 300 acres. So, with a motivation to benefit many beings, we ask you to join us in our search for the barn. We are looking for a very large barn with dimensions at least 100
