Current Employment Opportunities:
Milarepa Center seeks either a qualified Full-Time Residential Center Director OR Full-Time Residential Center Operations Manager. Milarepa Center operates sustainably as a hybrid retreat center offering both public retreats/programs as well as private, solitary retreat cabin rentals. Compensation for either position includes housing on the property and a small monthly stipend. Positions will remain open until one is filled, with an ideal start date in Spring of 2023.
Candidates for either position should have, at a minimum, some familiarity with and/or a sincere respect for Buddhist philosophy, the FPMT, and Lama Zopa Rinpoche.

Occasionally, a stay at Milarepa Center may be offered as part of a paid position or while volunteering. During your stay at Milarepa Center we require that you observe the Five Precepts as part of your stay:

no harming living things (bugs, etc),

no intoxicants (alcohol, smoking),

no sexual misconduct,

no lying or gossip

no taking what is not given/offered
Additionally, in order to minimize allergic reactions and/or sensitivities for everyone, we kindly ask those who stay at the center to refrain from wearing any perfume or cologne and from using scented lotions/body sprays.
